Outfit: Artful Suburbia

outfit-orley-tee-eastland-oxford-shoes-rayban-1

Stamford, CT is technically a city, but even here in downtown you see how it is a mix of both city and suburb. I purposely left out major buildings like the Trump Tower or UBS when selecting the area, but nonetheless, the city is a perfect representation for the look I put together —mixing art flair with prep.

Adam is wearing a Orley silk-cotton blend tee with a coral and navy geometric pattern with ribbed hems. It stands out even more by pairing with basic tones from the beige H&M shorts and tan, suede oxfords from Eastland Shoe. We finalized the look with a pair of gold and tortoise Ray-Ban shades. A moped we found later was a perfect match to the tee as well, which you’ll see below.

summer-music-2013-dance-pop-selena-gomez-avicii-macklemore-icona-pop

As the middle of summer approaches, here to make sure you’re always party ready for the rest of the season are the dance and pop hits of the summer.

Selena Gomez’s “Come And Get It” starts us off (don’t roll your eyes, you know you’re a fan) and is followed by our favorite ‘it’ duo of the moment, Icona Pop, with “I Love It” (and we would’ve included “Girlfriend” too, but Spotify didn’t have it!).

The rest of the pack includes the likes of Macklemore, Robin Thicke, Ellie Goulding, Calvin Harris, Jason Derulo, Miley Cyrus, and Avicii’s freshest hit, “Wake Me Up”.

GLAMGLOW’s SuperMud Clearing Treatment Is For Guys Too

glamglow-supermud-mud-mask

Upon hearing about GLAMGLOW‘s quick and easy mud mask products being an industry favorite, and seeing that the handsome Michael Bublè is a fan, I had to see what the fuss was about.

There’s the much talked about YouthMud ($69), which is the key product that is popular with the girls and leaves the skin with a tight and fresh new glow, but I was more intrigued by the mud mask that would not only make me feel good, but help with skin concerns that I could have every day.

The newer SuperMud clearing treatment ($69) fights off those everyday conundrums such as black and white heads, razor humps and in-grown hairs, while still providing that fresh face feel.

Getting To Provincetown & Events This Summer

Getting to Provincetown has never been a quick and easy feat. Once you get to the Massachusetts and Rhode Island area, you can drive right through all of Cape Cod until arriving to the end point where this New England gay Mecca lies.

It takes about two hours and a half from Providence or Boston to P’town, this of course is without the summer traffic, which can keep you on the highway for an extra hour or two. Just under 10 square miles of land, you don’t even need a car in P’town with its several taxis, pedicabs and shuttle services throughout the two main streets; Commercial and Bradford.

Many take a fast ferry during season, mid-May to mid-October, from Boston Harbor Cruises or Bay State Cruise; both can get you there in 90 minutes. Bay State is adding a new ship to their arsenal this summer, and a new service on Mondays for those of you eager to kickoff your trip as early as possible—6:30 a.m., running from July 1st to August 26th. If you are in luck and have sunny weather, make sure to have your camera handy for beautful photos of the Massachsetts, Plymouth, and Cape Cod bays.

Gay Las Vegas Clubs To Visit This Summer + Where To Cool Off

gay-las-vegas-summer-clubs-pool-party

There are some hot new happenings and changes down in Las Vegas for this summer, and even though the golden rule is ‘what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas’, we’re here to spill!

The juiciest, and perhaps largest, addition to LGBT entertainment and nightlife in Vegas is the move of hotspot Krave to the downtown district’s historic Fremont Street at the neon-lit mall, Neonopolis. There, it’s been reestablished as Krave Massive, which has just opened its doors and will be expanding into a mega-club that will feature five uniquely themed dance rooms, reminding me of the South Beach gay party house, Twist.

Paradise Of The Lost Boys: Dsquared2’s SS14 Collection At #MFW

dsquared2-ss14-mfw-spring-summer-2014

On Milan Fashion Week’s final day, Dsquared2 presented their collection in a man made tropical paradise filled with lush forestry and a waterfall. Dean and Dan Caten, the gay twin brother designers behind Dsquared2, dub the setting #Shangrila, and the story for the presentation is described as:

“Returning war heroes with that innocence of youthful rebellion, reminiscent of 1950’s boy stars, have taken a wrong turn, disappear from radars and now find themselves in an island paradise: golden sands, a dazzling sun, a lush tropical forest make the perfect backdrop for all Earthly Delights. There’s the scent of a tropical adventure, an exciting mix of amplified characters, the contradiction of tribal and formal, the necessity to improvise, and the raw physicality of sweltering hot men on a mission.”

‘Earthly Delights’ indeed, as a hunk dressed only in tribal necklaces and a pair of white briefs (from the brand’s new, upcoming underwear line) kicks off the show as a light shines on him bathing in the waterfall. He steps out, and two matching and lounging male models nearby are revealed also in their underwear. They hand the first model a towel to dry off and one of their geek chic glasses, and  he sets out onto the runway.

Yes, blue indeed was the made color scheme. Navy, sky, royal, capri, and cerulean blue, all are included and used either with a focus of one color for the entire outfit, or mixed  together—with few Spring 2014 looks including white, black, and reds.

Articles included cuffed slim pants, sleeveless leather vest, monochromatic tees, bomber jackets, pullover and zipper sweatshirts with block color pattern, blazers, and snap shirts, among other things.

See the spectrum of colors and clothing below:
