NYFW: Orley’s New York Fashion Week Debut
Catching up on New York Fashion Week posts after finishing up taking street style and behind the scenes photos for Out, Latina and Logo TV, I wanted to share photos and favorites from Orley’s first official fashion week presentation.
For fall/winter 2014, the collection featured beautiful jacquard sweaters and accessories, including geo-patterned gloves that are lined with leather and feature a wrist strap.
Outfit: Artful Suburbia
Stamford, CT is technically a city, but even here in downtown you see how it is a mix of both city and suburb. I purposely left out major buildings like the Trump Tower or UBS when selecting the area, but nonetheless, the cityΒ is a perfect representation for the look I put together βmixing art flair with prep.
Adam is wearing a Orley silk-cotton blend tee with a coral and navy geometric pattern with ribbed hems. It stands out even more by pairing with basic tones from the beige H&M shorts and tan, suede oxfords from Eastland Shoe.Β We finalized the look with a pair of gold and tortoise Ray-Ban shades. A moped we found later was a perfect match to the tee as well, which you’ll see below.
