Outfit: Biking in Vancouver
While in Vancouver this summer, instead of running the lululemon SeaWheeze half marathon I went for a bike ride with others who were also sitting out the run. We rode along the runner’s route to cheer and see the run, which brought throughout the city over across one of the several bridges over to Kitsilano Beach (also known as “Kits” Beach). There with the picturesque background (though almost everywhere in Vancouver – at least where I was – seemed to be picture qorthy) I decided to do an importune outfit shoot. More below:
Sporting a mix of gear from comfortable New Balance Classics M373 (from my collaboration with Zappos) to the lightweight and multi-functional lululemon Pace Break Shorts (in the SeaWheeze 2014 design), this was actually my first time riding a bike through a city in a while! The bike, the BMW Genuine Logo Cruise, was a loan from our hotel, the Fairmont Pacific Rim, which has a line of bikes available to be borrowed by guests.
While SeaWheeze 2015 is sold out, it’s a great time to plan a visit to Vancouver for the sunny, summer weather as it takes place in mid-August. There are sure to be a ton of fun different activities going on that you can take part in whether it’s at one of the stores or by the marathon’s main area (which if same as this year will be by the Vancouver Convention Centre).
