Must Have: Grady’s Cold Brew Bean Bags
Birchbox Man and Cool Hunting have teamed up and released a limited edition box of summer goodies. Among the items is Grady’s Cold Brew Bean Bags, which got me thinking of how I’m one of the few people I know who does need to drink coffee every morning, but when I do enjoy some it’s almost always iced. I’m glad to have received this box to try out a new favorite blend to up my coffee game.
The tin of Grady’s contains four very concentrated bags that include a New Orleans-style blend of ground coffee, French chicory and spices, and each bag can make enough coffee for two and a half cups (or enough for the week pretty much if you use all four bags). You simply follow the instructions on the back to make (a 12-hour refrigeration process) and enjoy a strong glass of coffee (I added milk and water to mine which is why it ha a light look…it’s still pretty strong, but also very delicious). The coffee can last for about five days if want to make a week’s worth at a time. After trying out and if you find you like, this tin size is great for traveling with if you want a blend you’re familiar with.
All the items in the box are actually perfect for travelers. Other top favorites of mine from it include the Herschel Supply’s Packable Duffle, which opens up to a 22 inch long nylon duffle bag that is perfect to bring along on flights abroad in case you shop a lot while traveling, and Ursa Major’s Essential Face Wipes to have a fresh face when you need it on the go. A travel size bottle of Ursa’s Face Balm is also included, and you can read my review of it here.
