Just last year, the One World Observatory opened in New York City provided a new view to the city for the public. Along with the observatory at OWTC, the Big Apple is home to a couple other major attractions for high altitude views (the Top of the Rock at Rockefeller Center and the Empire State Building). NYC is undoubtedly the city for urban observation decks, but there are other elevated sightseeing platforms and structure also worth visit. Here are 13 bucket-list worthy observation decks from around world over: Read the rest of this entry
This holiday season through New Year’s Eve, you can get two free rides from the airport thanks to Uber and American Express!
While on my way back north from Miami today, I got an email from Uber about its new holiday promotion that grants users with an American Express credit card two free rides from various airports in the U.S. up to $65 each. I tried it out today, and it covered the entire cost of my trip from LGA to Grand Central. In case you didn’t get this email (looks like sent out to those in the NYC area, Chicago, Houston, Boston and DC), find out below how it works:

While disembarking from an international flight can feel lovely, realizing you have to spend an hour waiting in line at customs can be a real let down. Earlier this summer I got to venture back to Amsterdam, and it was like a whole different place compared to my cold, rainy first time in the fall. Traveling with Gray Line Worldwide (which just recently released an inspo video on the destination – plus a contest!), we got to explore a lot of the city (and nearby the city) – both as locals do and as visitors might. Check out the adventure below, plus see how you can layer for crisp summer mornings or destinations such as Amsterdam that can have cool air in the summer:

While no father is the same, some of the things they (and men in general) like are, so I partnered up with Stanley brand to showcase different gifts you can get dad (or uncle, husband, boyfriend or another father or father figure in your life) this holiday based on various types of men such as those that love the outdoors, travelers, techies and the style conscious.
Another summer of LGBT Pride is coming up, and in case you’re still deciding on a Pride event to check out or a new one to experience, hopefully this little calendar can help you plan where to go and what to see the rest of this year:

Traveling takes a toll on the skin, especially when traveling on an airplane, but they’re tools to help you look and feel great again, and one brand to look at for some of them is Baxter of California. I recently traveled down to Palm Beach for a weekend of sun (and gay polo – more about that soon), but had to make sure I looked good as soon as I arrived for the group’s first night out – and each subsequent day. Fresh from a week in Iceland with Gray Line Worldwide, I got a chance to go through my photos and picked out a bunch that hopefully will inspire you to visit the beautiful island country.
When planning the trip with Gray Line, I of course made sure to include the Blue Lagoon on my list of to-dos, and to see different national parks, waterfalls, the glacier and other natural wonders Iceland has. Some surprises to me were the unique horses, the amazing food (hands down the best dairy I’ve ever had), and how cool the black sand beaches were.
