Gap is launching a new high-performance men’s brand, Hill City, which will offer technical clothing that can help the wearer transition from work to workout. Each product is designed, tested, and fit to perform and last across a range of conditions without compromising comfort or style.

The clean aesthetics of the logo-light products being released when the brand goes live next month are focused on helping men to purchase fewer, more versatile pieces. Read more below for a couple styles to look out for when the brand launches:

Pieces that will work in almost any setting include the “Everyday Pant” ($128, pictured above), a durable, sweat-wicking pant that is comfortable and stretches entirely. It’ll be available in three fits (slim, athletic, and cropped fit), and will be available in a range of colors.

The “Hybrid Oxford Shirt” ($88) is made of an all-season cotton yarns that blends Thermolite and Coolmax tech to regulate temperature, dry quick, and wick sweat. With travel in mind, the chest pocket is large enough to fit a passport.

And my personal favorite after seeing the products at a viewing last evening in North Brooklyn Farms (a very cute space that is open to the public and in Domino Park), the “Thermal Light Shirt Jacket” ($158, pictured above). The snap-front shirt jacket has a water-repellant stretch nylon exterior and is insulted with breathable Primaloft material that helps regulate temperature when switching climates.

The light shirt jacket and many of the other pieces also use high-quality renewable, recycled fiber in the performance fabrics used to create them, and Hill City has been designated a B Corp certified brand by integrating sustainability into its designs.

Available mid-October exclusively at hillcity.com, and pieces from the brand will also be displayed at 50 select Athleta locations.
