Men’s Travel Essentials For Healthier Skin From Epicuren

Photo via Fredgoldstein
Traveling can be stressful at times, which not only takes a toll on our minds, but can negativity affect our skin as well. One way to fight back to you keep the skin healthy is to use a moisturizer, but why just pick up a random bottle from the drug store when you can get quality that has added benefits.
I stumbled upon Epicuren Discovery, a skin treatment brand from California that offers an array of enzyme and propolis based skin care and spa products. The core of its line is based around Epicuren’s own enzyme protein complex, Metadermabolic, which encourages the skin to self-rejuvenate through a combination of a waterborne solution of B Vitamins. Epicuren describes this process to be like aerobic exercises supporting our metabolism.
After looking through the catalog of products, I tried out ones that seemed best suited for men. With new, smaller sizes released this year, I’ve selected four different products that will not only are the perfect travel size, but each are great for all skin types and offer aid to different parts of your journey (pictured from left to right):
Outfit: Make A Statement This Labor Day
Ditch the solid trunks this Labor Day weekend and go for bold prints or patterns. Palm Springs meets New England with this look featuring Mr Turk in Greenwich, CT’s Tod’s Point; a beach/park and marina that is must if you’re ever in Fairfield County.
Here on a bright, breezy day, Tom models one of Mr Turk’s latest swimwear designs, the safari board shorts, paired with a mini houndstooth patterned short sleeve button down. The shirt is very versatile and we did two looks with it, showing how to transition from casual summer work into a festive, holiday-ready outfit.

Indochino’s Online Experience And The New Modern Dandy Collection
It doesn’t get more dapper than a bespoke shirt or suit, and thanks to made-to-measure e-stores like Indochino, you have the convenience of measuring yourself on your clock. Where this Vancouver-based brand can differ from its competitors is the amount of customizability one can have with a shirt or suit, which are made from the same quality materials used by Zegna and Ralph Lauren—and with an appealing price. Seriously, you can order both a custom shirt and a two-piece suit for just over $500 (Essentials shirts start at $79, suits at $449).
Online Experience
Something pretty cool Indochino offers is a Tailor’s Kit, which is filled with 16 fabric swatches to show you the options in person, plus two measuring tapes. Available for $29, you then get a credit for the same amount to use towards an order. I ordered a shirt and will be focusing the online ordering experience of it.

The anticipated 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target collaboration has been revealed, and it is a must see. The line includes 100 pieces of womenswear, menswear and accessories; with prices ranging from $20 to $300.
Target reportedly had been courting Lim, who received the CFDA award for 2013 Accessory Designer of the Year in June, for years before he finally agreed to work with them says the NY Daily News.
Arriving on September 15, the items are divided into Morning, Noon and Night wardrobes. The menswear highlights selected includes color-blocked tops, a stylish tan trench, fancy sweats, leather hi-tops and a fantastic array of cerulean-based camo (the backpack is everything!):

Coach’s New Leather-Inspired Men’s Fragrance Collection
Coach and leather are synonymous, so it is no surprise that their newest men’s fragrance collection is based around the scent of leatherwear; specifically their glove-tanned cowhide. The collection includes three different fragrances that range from light and fresh to rich and masculine scents. Simply named Coach Leatherwear No. 1, No. 2 and No. 3 (I take it for the level of the scents and the light to dark woodland shades), they are all bottled in a vintage design that was found in company archives.
All the fragrances include the scent of glove-tanned leather (such as the one found on their Heritage baseball glove), and then each have varying ingredients:
No. 1: citrus, coriander, saffron, “aromatic” greens and nutmeg; No. 2: citrus, rhubarb leaves, black pepper, “crisp” greens, thyme, and blended oakmoss, patchouli and musk; No. 3: pink pepper, cardamom, lemon, cypress, orris, cedarwood, patchouli, papyrus, and vetiver. (Each are 3.2 oz, $95)
