Denim On Denim Travel Outfit
A denim jacket is a fall essential. It’s light enough for sunny days, and you can layer it for the cooler moments and nights. It also comes in handy for travels, as you can dress it up or down and make a lot of use of it. For arriving into Budapest earlier this month, I wore a denim on denim look. First Time In Budapest: Photo Diary
Recently I had the pleasure of traveling to Budapest for the first time, and it was an incredible experience. I traveled with Corinthia Hotels and wrote an article for AskMen.com on their five-star hotel there which has stood for over a century and is Europe’s first grand dame hotel. I spent four days in Budapest after flying in from London with British Airways—which was just over a two hour flight—and got to experience a little bit of everything.
I toured the historical and iconic sites such as Buda Castle (the city view from it is the photo at top), the Szechenyi Thermal Baths and Heroes Square (above), shopped along the famed Andrássy Avenue and at the Great Market Hall, ate at restaurants such as Gundel and Reteshaz, and checked out the city street art and the popular ruin bar Szimpla kert. Get a taste of Budapest below with some more of my snaps, with more posts soon!
Why Travelers Will Love The Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch
As a travel freelance writer and blogger, time zone changes can get annoying. I’m often good a changing my watch and phone when readying to take off, but I sometimes do forget and can get worried if I’m catching another flight in a new time zone and I forget about the time change. It happens when there’s just an hour difference, and while it usually gets worked out within 10 minutes or so, there’s really no need for the worrying to occur. Now with the Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch, wearers don’t ever have to worry about remembering any time zone changes. Trust me, it came in handy for me when I was recently in Vancouver coming from Budapest. Read the rest of this entry

Texas Road Trip: Photo Diary
Personal and professional travels have brought me to various parts of the U.S. and over international waters, but Texas wasn’t in my travel goals this year. Then when Best Western invited me on a road trip through The Lone Star State to experience a few of their properties and attend the National Association of Hispanic Journalists Convention, I thought there would be no better way to experience Texas and got onboard.
Selecting The Right Travel Grooming Kit (And What To Add)
Packing for my trip to Las Vegas this summer I wanted to select a grooming kit that would answer most of my skin care needs. A kit should always at least have a shaving cream and after shave set, moisturizer, and a face wash. Read the rest of this entry
