Selecting The Right Travel Grooming Kit (And What To Add)
Packing for my trip to Las Vegas this summer I wanted to select a grooming kit that would answer most of my skin care needs. A kit should always at least have a shaving cream and after shave set, moisturizer, and a face wash.Baxter of California offers a travel kit with all of these mentioned for a smooth, refreshed and clean face (plus a matte finish from the oil free moisturizer). It also includes a daily protein shampoo to strengthen hair and remove buildup and natural toxins. All are 2 oz units and come in a navy blue quilted bag.
While the daily protein shampoo is something you might want to add to your at home regimen, shampoo, soap and conditioners are almost always provided by the hotel or resort you are staying at. They can also be quality bath products if you are staying at a luxury hotel such as the Vdara Las Vegas (where the above photo was shot, amazing view right?), which carries Aveda products.
There are three other essential travel products to keep handy and add to your travel kit: a hair gel or cream, a fragrance and an eye balm.
For these look to the travel friendly eShave’s Hair Styler (a light cream to enhance hair moisture, soften and add volume), Capsule Parfums’ JAUNT fragrance (a sweet and woodland scent in a 0.5 oz spray), and Lab Series Daily Moisture Eye Defense Balm (helps defend skin against aging by hydrating and smoothing out fine lines – great for after a late night out too).
