First Time In Budapest: Photo Diary

budapest-travel-photos-1-skyline-view Recently I had the pleasure of traveling to Budapest for the first time, and it was an incredible experience. I traveled with Corinthia Hotels and wrote an article for AskMen.com on their five-star hotel there which has stood for over a century and is Europe’s first  grand dame hotel. I spent four days in Budapest after flying in from London with British Airways—which was just over a two hour flight—and got to experience a little bit of everything. budapest-travel-photos-21-heroes-square I toured the historical and iconic sites such as Buda Castle (the city view from it is the photo at top), the Szechenyi Thermal Baths and Heroes Square (above), shopped along the famed Andrássy Avenue and at the Great Market Hall, ate at restaurants such as Gundel and Reteshaz, and checked out the city street art and the popular ruin bar Szimpla kert. Get a taste of Budapest below with some more of my snaps, with more posts soon!
