Mud Runs Get Gayer
Mud runs have been an ‘it’ thing to do for the sport enthusiasts and those who just want share photos of their dirty selves at the event on Facebook—not judging, I’d be doing the exact same thing…#mudrun. Men and women have been sliding around the mud (or newer variations like the cleaner foam run) for years now, in either very little clothing or festive costumes. You’d think someone would’ve thought of a gay mud run sooner, but alas it has arrived and is coming to New York this Pride season.
Out-Fit Challenge is booking itself as the first LGBT mud run, and the organization held its first event this past Miami Beach Gay Pride. What makes this event more unique than the obvious, is that the company provides proceeds of every dollar earned to national and local LGBT charity organizations.

Gay Marriage For Uruguay & New Zealand

The past week has brought great progress for the LGBT community worldwide in the fight for marriage equality. Last Wednesday, Uruguay, the first South American country to allow civil unions, legalized same-sex marriage when the country’s lower house members overwhelmingly voted in favor of the bill—71 out of 92 members!
“We are living a historic moment,” said Federico Grana, a leader of the Black Sheep Collective, a gay rights group that drafted the bill proposal. “In terms of the steps needed, we calculate that the first gay couples should be getting married 90 days after the promulgation of the law, or in the middle of July.”
Now just one week after Uruguay, New Zealand joins as the 13th location in the world where same-sex marriage is fully legalized, and it is also the first in the Asia-Pacific region to do so, according the Associated Press.

A destination selection is only part of your next travel adventure. Oasis Sens – Gays Up Cancun & Moves Past Spring Break
Forget what comes to mind right away when you think about this coastal Mexicana retreat off the Caribbean Sea. For years MTV—back when shows did not focus on teenage pregnancies and music video ruled the tube—portrayed Cancun as party central 24/7, showcasing the flocks of spring breakers. While that ‘party like there’s no tomorrow’ mindset does exist at the end of February and March during peak season of college visitors, they are not everywhere.

My recent journey to the tropical destination proved that the spring break scene only exists if you go looking for it. If you’re partying leans toward that of the gay variety, you’re in the clear, as the gay downtown scene was filled with locals and various traveling gays who are were not as rambunctious as your typical college boys and girls.
While downtown Cancun has most of the gay clubs, many come for fun in the sun at oceanfront stays. Leading a new gay hotel revolution of the sorts is the freshly renovated and rebranded Oasis Sens from the Oasis Hotels family, a chain of ten hotels and resorts in Cancun.

Zumanity Brings More Man Candy With ‘Scottish Fantasy’
Unveiling almost 10 years ago, Zumanity provides visitors with “the sensual side of Cirque du Soleil” at its Las Vegas home in the New York-New York Hotel & Casino. As the first “adult-themed” show in the Cirque du Soleil brand, Zumanity offers something for everyone, of appropriate age, regardless of gender and their sexuality to enjoy.
This year, the cabaret-style show introduces more man eye candy for those of us who appreciate the male form. In ‘Scottish Fantasy,’ we are given attention to a shirtless, dominating Scot, played by artist Alex Stabler. Stabler is decked out in a jockstrap-like, yellow plaid patteren kilt that is designed by Thierry Mugler, whom designed all the outfits in Zumanity.
