Why Travelers Will Love The Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch

seiko-astron-gps-watch-AstronElite

In collaboration with Seiko I sported the Seiko Astron GPS Solar watch as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #AstronElite, but all opinions are my own.

As a travel freelance writer and blogger, time zone changes can get annoying. I’m often good a changing my watch and phone when readying to take off, but I sometimes do forget and can get worried if I’m catching another flight in a new time zone and I forget about the time change. It happens when there’s just an hour difference, and while it usually gets worked out within 10 minutes or so, there’s really no need for the worrying to occur. Now with the Seiko Astron GPS Solar Watch, wearers don’t ever have to worry about remembering any time zone changes. Trust me, it came in handy for me when I was recently in Vancouver coming from Budapest. Read the rest of this entry

biking-outfit-vancouver-1

While in Vancouver this summer, instead of running the lululemon SeaWheeze half marathon I went for a bike ride with others who were also sitting out the run. There with the picturesque background  (though almost everywhere in Vancouver – at least where I was – seemed to be picture qorthy) I decided to do an importune outfit shoot. More below:

Sandro-Homme-Store-New-York-1

In New York on 145 Spring Street in SoHo, the French luxury brand Sandro has opened up its first U.S. men’s store, the Sandro Homme Workshop, which will be featuring a different shopping concept and experience. From my article for AskMen.com, along with the chic fall and winter styles, the Workshop will feature in-store artist collaborations that includes showcasing a new artist each month through the end of the year. Each artist will have a week-long live installation in the beginning of their time in the Workshop towards the front entrance, with their work staying on display through the rest of the month.

More about the new store, which will remain open through the end of 2014 as Sandro looks for a new spot to open up a flagship, on AskMen.com. And if you are wondering what Sandro is offering this fall, I’ve picked out my five favorites below:
