Style Essentials for City Summer Travel
While in Tel Aviv earlier this month, I stayed at the stylish and retro-chic Brown TLV boutique hotel for my first couple of nights in the heart of the city. Along with the hotel’s location and its vibes, my favorite other amenities include the 1970s-themed lobby (or ‘Living Room’), the hotel’s indoor-outdoor bar in the garden area, and rooftop deck where I figured it would be best to share some of my city summer travel style must-haves for this season.

Weekend Road Trip Style
Who doesn’t like to be comfy when on a road trip? With some many graphics out there, you can have a little fun when styling for a road trip. I came across this Snoopy and Woodstock printed sweatshirt and fell in love with the from the first glance! Kept the styling to a minimum and the road trip essentials: sneakers, sunnies and a duffle bag.

Travel Essentials for Summer and Tropical Getaways
With summer travel planning in mind, there are a few things you should always have in your wardrobe and accessories collection to be ready for the season ahead and for any last minute tropical getaways. I recently traveled to Thailand and had to pack for high 80s and 90 degree, humid weather. Knowing I’d be in the lush tropics of beach towns like Krabi and Khao Lak I packed a range of short sleeved tops, shorts, swimwear and sunnies.

Travel Inspiration: The Colorful Wynwood Walls and Arts District
Earlier this year I was in Miami with the Thompson Miami Beach and got a chance to spend a morning over in the Wynwood neighborhood to experience the Wynwood Walls. Since 2009 the Walls have welcomed over 50 street art and graffiti artists from 16 different countries to cover and revitalize the walls of the Miami warehouse district neighborhood with their works.
Numerous mural artworks await visitors ranging from symmetrical art to works with characters and symbols, and the art expands further then the Wynwood Walls and throughout the district. Vee Travels Shop
Having my own e-commerce is a long-term goal of mine along with running my own publication. The Vee Travels blog is a step in that direction, while complementing my work as a journalist, but I’m happy to share that I’ve taken my first step toward an online store.
With the help of NMRKT, through the Vee Travels shop I’ll be curating selects to shop from retailers such as Mr Porter, Nordstrom, TopShop ASOS and more! Similar to my themed shopping posts and selections seen on them (which I will continue to do), the shop will provide visitors a space to look through the selects I make with more ease and hopefully some fun. Purchases are made directly from the retailer.
