Style Essentials for City Summer Travel

While in Tel Aviv earlier this month, I stayed at the stylish and retro-chic Brown TLV boutique hotel for my first couple of nights in the heart of the city. Along with the hotel’s location and its vibes, my favorite other amenities include the 1970s-themed lobby (or ‘Living Room’), the hotel’s indoor-outdoor bar in the garden area, and rooftop deck where I figured it would be best to share some of my city summer travel style must-haves for this season.

First up is a city travel bag to love! Coach’s Mercer Tote features a pebbled leather body and is quite durable and spacious (its able to fit a 15″ laptop comfortably. Features a zipper close top, a couple interior pockets, sturdy top handles and a detachable shoulder strap.

A polo shirt, white sneakers and fitted shorts are summer staples to have plenty of. Lacoste’s Fine Stripe Jersey Pocket Polo is a casual and cool take on the polo (with its contrasting pocket, collar and arm cuff),  the Logan Sneakers by Banana Republic is a sleek, versatile pair of sneakers that have a nubuck leather upper and a canvas lining, and Frank & Oak’s textured Maxwell Japanese Print Shorts are soft and stylish with a modern length of 7.5″ for those looking to show more leg.

Sunglasses and wrist accessories are also always great for finishing touches to a summer look. Coach’s Thompson Sunglasses are handsomely crafted aviators with blue lenses that’ll make any look shine (silver and rose option here), and ALDO Aboaniel set features six different bracelets the mix rope and leather materials together that can look great with pairing some together or wearing any individually.

Grooming is just as important as style, and three summer city travel essentials to add to your arsenal this season are John Masters Organics Natural Mineral Sunscreen (has a 30 spf, features green tea, shea butter and jojoba oil to hydrate, moisturize and replenish the skin of vitamins and minerals), L’Occitane’s new Cedrat fragrance (a refreshingly masculine citrus scent), and Coola’s all-in-one lip treatment (protects the lips with a 30 SPF formula while also soothing and nourishing the lips).
