More details an photos about the Pride parade below, with a post on Tel Aviv LGBT life here.
The Parade day kicked off in Meir Park near the city’s LGBT center, and you could feel all the joy and pride the people were feeling. From shirtless travelers and drag queens to local families and athletes, everyone joined together to celebrate. The march – where anyone and everyone could march in, which was a nice change from U.S. prides – went from the park over to Bograshov Street for several blocks before hitting the beachside main drag of Retsif Herbert Samuel Street where it was joined by several floats. The parade went on for several streets until it reached with everyone happily marching and dancing along over to Charles Clore Park, where the route ended at the Pride festival which was filled with several different stands, bars and a giant stage for a number of Israeli and visiting musicians – including Conchita Wurst (the guest of honor).
