Shoes to Have: Johnston & Murphy Conard Wingtip (Plus a Contest to Win a Pair)
Every man should have a stylish pair of oxfords in his collection. With spring in full bloom, one to consider adding to your wardrobe for springtime and summer styling is Johnston & Murphy’s Conard Wingtip.
The Johnston & Murphy Conard Wingtip ($155, JohnstonMurphy.com) is a modern take on the classic silhouette that features handsome brogue detailing, leather linings, a stacked heel with a rubber outsole and hand burnished leather, linen, or water-resistant suede upper – depending on color choice. I went with the grey and off-white style in suede as the colors make perfect for styling in the spring and summer on sunny days in a city environment, small town and beach destinations for when you want to dress up.See how to win a pair of your own below.
How I styled them:
I brought the oxfords along to my recent trip to Park City and put together a mountain town travel look to style the outfit up with the shoes. Added some color to the overall look with Stance socks and I found the Fjallraven Greenland backpack in olive to be an accessory that worked with several different outfits and travel experiences while in town:
Outfit | Vest: Banana Republic (other brand to shop: Aarpenteur) | Shirt: Gap (other brand to shop: Shipley & Halmos) | Jeans: American Eagle | Sunglasses: TOMS | Shoes: Johnston & Murphy | Socks: Stance (other brand to shop: Happy Socks) | Backpack: Fjallraven
