British synth-pop dou La Roux is back with a new single that premiered today, and just like front-woman Elly Jackson’s hair, the song is brilliant!

The beat of course then picks up, with Jackson’s lyrics still staying soft for a harmonious, balanced comeback track that’ll be great for to listen while cruising—whatever your method of transpo is. “Let Me Down Gently” is the lead single for La Roux’s return album, Trouble in Paradise, which is due in July. As we count down the days to the release of Ultraviolence, Lana Del Rey’s second album due on May 1, we got a special treat today, a new leaked single. Shakira has been one of my favorite musicians since “Whenever, Wherever” came out back in my middle school years—2001 to be exact. I’m so excited for her new self titled album to drop this March, and I’m still in love with “Can’t Remember To Forget You” featuring Rihanna, but her second single “Empire” shows off the Colombiana’s rock roots in this much needed power anthem.
