Travel Essentials for Summer and Tropical Getaways
With summer travel planning in mind, there are a few things you should always have in your wardrobe and accessories collection to be ready for the season ahead and for any last minute tropical getaways. I recently traveled to Thailand and had to pack for high 80s and 90 degree, humid weather. Knowing I’d be in the lush tropics of beach towns like Krabi and Khao Lak I packed a range of short sleeved tops, shorts, swimwear and sunnies.

Travel Inspiration: The Colorful Wynwood Walls and Arts District
Earlier this year I was in Miami with the Thompson Miami Beach and got a chance to spend a morning over in the Wynwood neighborhood to experience the Wynwood Walls. Since 2009 the Walls have welcomed over 50 street art and graffiti artists from 16 different countries to cover and revitalize the walls of the Miami warehouse district neighborhood with their works.
Numerous mural artworks await visitors ranging from symmetrical art to works with characters and symbols, and the art expands further then the Wynwood Walls and throughout the district. Keeping Fresh With The New Old Spice (Plus A Giveaway)
Traveling all the time I always need to have my grooming arsenal stocked up and love testing out new products and collections. Having used Old Spice bath products before for the post-workout showers, when I was asked to partner with the men’s body care brand to try out there latest line, the Fresher Collection, I was more than excited to do so.
An extension of the Fresh Collection, one thing (or three) that the Fresher Collection does is introduces new scents to help men smell fresher than the great outdoors: Timber, Amber and Citron. A reason Old Spice has added more outdoors scents to the collection is due to studies they researched and proved the great outdoors and the fresh scents have the power to calm the mind and body.

Weekend Itinerary for London with Virgin Atlantic
One of my favorite cities, London has countless possibilities for a memorable and fun visit through its history, culture and modern developments. So when Virgin Atlantic asked me to put together an itinerary as part of their new Let It Fly online campaign tool (where visitors select which packed bag best suits them and then Virgin recommends a destination based on what was selected), I had to take part and build one that captures the best of London for a three to four day weekend. Vee Travels Shop
Having my own e-commerce is a long-term goal of mine along with running my own publication. The Vee Travels blog is a step in that direction, while complementing my work as a journalist, but I’m happy to share that I’ve taken my first step toward an online store.
With the help of NMRKT, through the Vee Travels shop I’ll be curating selects to shop from retailers such as Mr Porter, Nordstrom, TopShop ASOS and more! Similar to my themed shopping posts and selections seen on them (which I will continue to do), the shop will provide visitors a space to look through the selects I make with more ease and hopefully some fun. Purchases are made directly from the retailer.
