As both a blogger and a journalist tech tools play a major role in my day to day and travels. Partnering with Dell and Intel once more, I’ve selected eight tech items that bloggers should utilize.

Dell XPS 13 – As mentioned before, the Dell XPS 13 is wonderful tool to travel with. The new ultrabook is a small, lightweight and powerful 13-inch laptop that features high performance through its Intel 5th gen core processor and a Quad HD+ display that has 5.7 million pixels. The battery life is superb and can last up to 10 hours before needing a charge, and the size and weight are truly what make it a perfect tool. An 11.98-inch body has a 13.3-inch display, a depth of under 8 inches, a height of under half an inch, and it weighs 2.8 pounds. After traveling with it to Miami, New York, Thailand, Park City and Palm Springs, it’s becoming my go-to for life. Check out details of how the Dell XPS 13 Laptop came to be here, with more product specs on Dell.com. Starts at $800 and can be bought from Dell or Microsoft.

Dell Power Companion (12000 mAh) – At least portable power source is a must, and the Dell Power Companion is become a favorite of mine for being able to not only charge all my portables, but my Dell XPS 13 ultrabook as well. Along with a charging port for Dell ultrabooks, it’s able to charge two other USB cord enabled electronics with ease as the 12,000 mAh battery (and it’s also very slim for having so much power). $119

Toshiba Canvio Connect 2TB Portable Hard Drive – A portable external hard drive is also very important to have to back up files or have a space to keep extra ones (sometimes an digital one online just doesn’t cut it). The Toshiba Canvio Connect is able to carry 2TB of storage space and is compatible with both USB 3.0 and 2.0 ports. Other features include data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and an 8MB cache buffer (means speedy pretty much), and there’s also an internal shock sensor to keep the hard drive safe while moving around. Works with both PC and Mac. $189

A-Audio Legacy Over-Ear – Headphones are something that you can never have to many of. It’s nice to have options to mix and match for their design, uses and how they look on you and with your outfit. A-audio has luxe headphones such as thee Legacy, an over-ear pair of headphones that has 3-stage tech, allowing users to switch between Base Enhancer, Active Noise Cancellation and Audio modes. $299

Two other stylish brand to shop for headphones are Marshall and Master & Dynamic.

Olloclip 4-in-1 Lens – Offering four lightweight lens options in one for the iPhone, the Olloclip is perfect for every occasion from festival photos and adventure travel to interior shots and day to day findings. A fisheye, wide-angle and two macro lenses (one 10x and the other 15x) are uniquely crafted into one compact device that slides on and off the iPhone. $69

Satechi Spectrum Mouse – While using a laptop’s trackpad is one to go, I personally like to have a mouse when I’m using my laptop at my desk. The Satechi Spectrum Mouse offers you a chance set the tone of your desk with seven different colors of LED illumination in a sleek and light body that also looks good with the LED off. $29

Juno Power Kaebo – A durable lighting cable is a handy iPhone accessory to have as either a backup cord or your main one . The Kaebo line by Juno Power are cables wrapped in a web of high durability micro-fiber cloth with aluminum adapter heads that are anti-tear and designed to last. $29

AOC 17” USB Monitor – If you are in the market for a second monitor – whether it’s to work twice as hard or have one play Netflix in the background – then look no further than this easy to connect monitor from AOC. With a slim design that can be used in its vertical or horizontal positions, after setting up the connection program to you computer it simply connects via a USB 3.0 connection for high transfer rates and image quality.  $199
