The Relaxed City Commuter Look (and the Performance Dress Pants)
Can’t believe it’s already been a week since New York Fashion Week: Men’s wrapped up! Selecting looks for my days of actively moving around taking photos of the various presentations and models backstage is never something I can’t just do quickly. I need to think about how much moving around I’m going to do, how flexible the clothes are and, naturally, how well the overall look was for me.
I’ve partnered with Savane to share about the brand’s Active Fit technology in some of its styles. A few key comments to the Active Fit tech is a max-comfort waistband, motion stretch fabric, a hidden zip-tech pocket and wicking performance — all of which were very helpful during my busy day shooting at NYFWM. I opted for the Straight-Fit Flat-Front Performance Comfort Waist Chino Pants to let more air in than a slimmer fit, and selected it over shorts to avoid the look being too casual.
I didn’t want the overall outfit to be too un professional, so I paired the pants with oxfords from Cat Footwear. To still keep the look casual, chose a short sleeve lululemon button down and decided to leave it open with a black tee underneath. Since it’s fashion week, I added a sleek black Uri Minkoff backpack, a chic floral Herschel Supply cap, bold fox print socks by Express and finished the look with a pair of RFLKT infinity glasses from EyeBuyDirect.

Other styles that Savane offers with its Active Fit tech include: Premium Flex Gab, Active Flex 4 Way Stretch Dress Pant, Active Flex Short, Savane Premium Flex Twill Pant, Savane Premium Flex Stretch Short and Savane Pleated Performance Chino
Thank you to Savane for sponsoring this post. All opinions expressed here are my own.
