Whether shopping for yourself or a man in your life, find 12 selects below to be prepared for where this summer season will bring you or him. See loafer, sneaker and other summer styles for everything from happy hours, casual poolside parties, city travel, beach escapes and hiking:

Jents Maldive Denim Loafer ($159)
Offering a range of versatile, comfortable styles, Jents is a new loafer brand based in Canada. I’ve partner with them to test out the styles and share a little about the brand. A couple unique aspects that they offer include having in-sole socks with each pair of shoes that can wick away sweat and they use recyclable, animal-friendly materials for the loafers. Other features include being handmade in Mexico, having PU foam insoles, arch support for added comfort, mixed-rubber outsole, and, with a number of style options, there’s something for everyone’s taste. The denim style (pictured above) in particular is among the most versatile in my opinion, as it can be worn for a number of occasions such as in a casual office environment, to go out in, to travel with, in the city, for a pool day, or even a garden party. More about the loafers.

Cat Footwear Sawyer Shoes ($99)
A dressy casual shoe, the Sawyer lace up features authentic craftsmanship and comfortable features. With statement making artisan leather, the styles features a Goodyear welt construction, a full grain leather upper, microfiber lining, and a microfiber sock liner.

Summer provides the best hiking opportunities. I recently did a hiking trip with Columbia to the French and Italian Alps (more about that soon, but check out some images on Insta), and did canyoneering while on the trip. These water shoes were perfect for both light hiking and water activities such as canyoneering its a hybrid of a quick-drying and super-ventilated shoe that features an Omni-Grip outsole with razor siping.
