With the holiday shopping season among us I’ll be posting a set of gift ideas at least once a week for the rest of this month and in December with the topics of travel, grooming, tech, winter style and more! The gift guide series will hopefully help inspire you if you are stuck on what to get for friends, family, and significant others, and you might even want to pickup something for yourself. In this set, classic gifts for men that never go out of style:

1. Watch
A watch has been a timeless gift to give men for all occasions, and has been for centuries. Whether you are looking for a gift for your father, father-in-law, brother, significant other or a good friend, there’s a watch style out there that’s perfect for them. One to keep in mind for its versatility and durability is Victorinox Swiss Army’s I.N.O.X. With a sharp and simple design, the I.N.O.X. is a Quartz watch that features a reinforced stainless steel body that is scratch-resistant, water-resistant and, according to Victorinox, able to survive a three story fall on to a concrete surface, being driven over by a 64-ton tank, survive a washing machine for two hours at 194°, and other extreme occurrences. 3. Wallet Even with tools like the new Apple Pay, wallets will still be around for at least the next century. With style options from chic to clean to rugged, finding the perfect wallet to gift depends on the personal style. 4. Neckwear

A striped and solid silk tie is always a safe bet, but to add some personality to your gift, go for a patterned tie or one made from a different material. 5. Outerwear
For an even more personal touch to add to a gift, clothing shows you know his style. A wool coat or jacket is good choice for the winter weather ahead, and a type that can work with various styles is a short wool zip up.
