Outfit: Fall Casuals + Accessory Pattern Clashing

Fall is a great time to layer, and a simple way to do for a casual look is with a denim jacket and statement accessories. This fall has already been such a crazy time for me that I haven’t been posting as much as I usually do–sorry! Just got back from traveling Europe (so excited to share about that soon) and am now in Vancouver. Have had to keep styles rather casual so thought would be a good time to post about that.

A great thing about denim jackets are that you don’t have to just wear it the season they are released, this one for example is from H&M last year. They can easily be layered and paired with khakis or trousers, or even jeans. If you are doing denim on denim just make sure they are different shades a bit (a tease to another post I have coming up). As always, make a statement with accessories and color. I choose a bold blue with a Banana Republic sweater, camo prints with a Herschel Supply tote and K Swiss x Billy Reid kick, and Richer Poorer socks with a topiary green pattern that mixes well with the different camos for some light pattern clashing.
