NYFW: Ernest Alexander’s Vintage Biker-inspired Collection For F/W 2014
Showing Ernest Alexander’s fall/winter 2014 collection at the inaugural New York Men’s Day, designer Ernest Sabine told me his influence for the collection came from the biker culture of the Teens and Twenties eras; giving his work an edge this season.
Writing for a post on Details.com, leather moto jackets in olive and black were worn over pants with leather knee patches, which rooted a collection that also included a very vintage-inspired, cropped houndstooth suit. The models carried some great bags, too, with tote, overnight, garment, and flight options.
