When you are styling with patterns for the first time, pick a light and easy one to play with such as this ivy scheme on these shorts from Bonobos. A simple pattern to add is a floral one, and it doesn’t have to fill up the entire top. A top with a pattern pocket will work as shown here by my friend and blog model James. For a playful summer look we added a pair of Soludos and a light backpack from American Eagle.
