Win A Trip To Los Angeles With Bonobos
In anticipation of Bonobos’ new Guideshop opening in Los Angeles on La Brea next month, the menswear brand is hosting a contest for a trip for two to the Golden Coast. Along with the two round-trip airfare tickets to Los Angeles, the winner will get a two-night stay at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel and a $1,000 Bonobos wardrobe—you can get a lot of their well known no-diaper-butt pants for that. Enter once now through June 8th.
In case you’re not familiar with the Guideshops, these are stores across eight cities at the moment—which include Boston, Chicago and New York (pictured above)—where you can try on all the styles they have to offer while a Guide (a sales person/stylist in a way) helps you pick out what you want to see. Then you order your items to be delivered right to your home. These Guideshops are great if you’re not familiar with the brand, if you’re traveling or just don’t like to carry shopping bags. More about them here.

Must Have: Mixed-Media Military Duffle Backpack From Frank & Oak’s Watch Dogs Collection
Frank & Oak has released a 12-piece capsule collection line in anticipation of video game Watch Dogs, a cool looking and highly anticipated hacker multi-online player video game . Taking inspiration from it and the stealth and functionality that you’ll need to have in the game , the collection features a “dark and mysterious near-future aesthetic.” Among the collection, which retails from $32-$115, is a sporty canvas and leather military duffle backpack that I think stands out from the rest for its modern and versatile appeal.
The rest of the collection is pretty cool too, and includes distressed v-neck pocket tees, printed denim shirts, waffle henley, black canvas pant, patterned sweater, and a French terry hoodie with raw and worn details and textures, plus crew neck tees and a baseball cap. See them below and watch the newest trailer for Watch Dogs after:
5 Floral Menswear Outfits For Spring
Everyone from American Eagle to Gucci has featured florals in their menswear lines, and the print has evolved beyond Hawaiian patterns. For AskMen, I’ve put together a guide on how to pull off the floral print trend this spring and summer season. Here are the five outfits I styled:
Shirt: Kenneth Cole, Shorts: J.Crew, Shoes: Lacoste
Shirt: Polo Ralph Lauren, Jeans: Perry Ellis, Shoes: Trask Read the rest of this entry
Style Guide For Music Festivals
If you find yourself heading to Magic City this weekend for the Ultra Music Festival, I’ve put together a cool guy’s guide for AskMen.com to give you a rundown of who to check out, where to eat, drink and shop in Miami, who to take style inspiration from, and what to wear:
Styling for any music festival, you can never go wrong with skinny jeans, but if the destination is very warm (like Miami), shorts are also a great option—just make sure to go for flat front over cargo styles (those are so over). For tops, go for graphic tees and tanks with funky designs, and make sure to skip out on the usual band, kitsch or ironic T-shirts. For accessories and footwear, old-school chic and plastic sunglasses are great to go from music festival to sunbathing, a colorful or print baseball cap is useful all spring and summer long, and sneakers and slip-ons are good go-tos as you’ll be standing and bouncing around for hours. Must Have For The Smart Traveler, Tumi’s Alpha 2
Kicking off our new Must Have series, Tumi welcomes an upgraded collection to the luxury travel brand. The Alpha 2 line is a collection of 19 products smartly designed for a lighter and spacious journey with each trip taken, and if you’ve owned a piece from the previous Alpha line, you’re in for over 30 upgrades to the design—depending on the style selected. Noticeable upgrades include:
- Tumi’s lightest ballistic nylon, which they introduced 30 years ago are known for.
- Reinforced frames with heavy duty, lightweight stitching and impact resistant corners.
- Newly designed 360° wheels that are recessed into the body of suitcases to provide more stable navigation and a little extra room in the interior.
- Three height options for the lightweight, aircraft-grade aluminum handle.
- A durable and stealthy Lever Lock Expansion System, which can securely provide two-stages of expansion—with up to two and a half extra inches of packing space. #winning!

Pictured above is the Extended Trip Expandable 4 Wheeled Packing Case, selected for its two toned color option (to make an extra statement while traveling) and as it is one of the luggages with all the upgrades. Though if the color choice becomes available for the International Expandable 4 Wheeled Carry-On option, that would be my pick a the must have from the collection.
